Description
Wai-iti was written for my parents - internationally acclaimed cornet soloist Trevor Bremner, and piano accompanist Betty Bremner.
Originally written for Bb Cornet & Piano, Wai-iti is a solo that reflects on my memories with my family at my favourite holidaying spot when I was growing up - Wai-iti Beach.
This version of Wai-iti for Soloist in Bb & Brass Band was arranged especially for my father’s 2014 album, Melodies from a Lifetime.
