Works brilliantly!

I live in a flat with friends and where the walls are very thin, and they can barely hear my practice. Quite a bit of resistance compared to no mute, however that is to be expected. Intonation relatively sound. Definitely worth the investment :)

Easy to play and really is quiet!

Best of the Best

This is by far the best practice mute I have ever owned. It plays in tune, and in my opinion has very little resistance and is very easy to play so you can practice with ease. Now I can get one with a blue cap!

Joyful noising

I live in a 10 unit subsidized apartment building for seniors. I tried a number of ways to reduce the loud sound of my trombone but I kept getting polite complaints that it was too loud. After using the sshhMUTE, I have had no problems at all and I'm enjoying the trombone once again. Wonderful product, and about time!
